CMIP Investment Teaching Accreditation Program 12th Run (2017)

The CMIP Investment Teaching Accreditation Program (ITAP) is a subsidized program for tertiary instructors/lecturers/professors teaching BANKING, FINANCE and/or INVESTMENTS. In this program, the scholars go through a rigorous FIVE (5) DAY live-in seminar-workshop. Upon completion of the course, the successful participants are conferred a CMIP Certificate of Accreditation for Teaching Investments.

Annually, the CMIP awards 30 program subsidized slots to Filipino tertiary instructors/lecturers/professors from all over the country recommended by their respective institutions. The  award covers the seminar/training program fees, workbooks, handouts, board and lodging and transportation from host institution, Southville International School and Colleges to the ACT Training Center.

A Program Development Fee is collected from the participants to help defray cost of incidental expenses.

The ITAP is run by the CMIP, with guest lecturers and workshop facilitators who are from both the academe and industry practitioners, some of whom are authors of literature on the topics investments and capital market in the Philippine, ASEAN and global setting.

Program participants are expected to actively participate on all oral activities and written exercises during the seminar-workshops. A formal written assessment ends each program component. Complete attendance in all the program sessions, active participation during the seminar sessions and workshops, and above average results of oral and written assessments comprise the basis for successful completion of the program.

Selected scholars agree to fully complete the seminar hours & other required output in order to be accredited by the CMIP. Scholars shall cooperate with the CMIP's reasonable requests & efforts to publicize the scholarship program.
