The Capital Markets Institute of the Philippines, through Divine Guidance, is committed to:

 

  • stimulate consciousness and discipline to generate savings;

 

  • build a strong investment culture through savings mobilization;

 

  • advance the role of savings and investments in the development of capital markets and growth of the national economy and;

 

  • conduct other relevant programs and activities, which could strengthen the Philippine capital markets with the involvement of other stakeholders.

 

 

 

ABOUT CMIP

In 2005, a group of investment practitioners and academicians founded the CMIP, a non-stock and non-profit organization committed to promoting, developing, and advancing awareness and knowledge of the Philippine Capital Market and its role in the development of our country's national economy.

Primary Objectives

 

The Capital Markets Institute of the Philippines, through Divine Guidance, shall undertake the development of the following:

 

  • Programs and curricula

 

  • Faculty pool

 

  • Students and other stakeholders

 

  • Research

 

  • Materials and resources

 

The Capital Markets Institute of the Philippines shall also take an active role in other capital market development activities, such as but not limited to:

Secondary Objectives

  • Writing of position papers and formulate recommendations, which may aid in policy making; and;

 

  • Conduct of fora, seminars, and other related initiatives.​
